Ovidiu Andriciuc was a major contributor to the 8-5 Binghamton win over Altoona. The Rumble Ponies first baseman was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Binghamton reliever Juan Brito got the win, raising his record to 8-4. Ben Kessler was tagged with the loss. Mike Jones closed the game out for Binghamton, earning his 12th save.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Joe Boger hit a 2-2 fastball from Ben Kessler for a run-scoring single. It put Binghamton in front, 6-5.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Boger.

At 44-46, the Rumble Ponies find themselves in 5th place in the Eastern Division.
