The Syracuse Mets got a good effort from starter Alex Ortiz in defeating the Louisville Bats at NBT Bank Stadium. The final score was 6-1. Ortiz went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-0. Syracuse now has a 3-game win streak.
