Kilsdonk Torches Mud Hens for 5 Hits
Beau Kilsdonk got the glory and the headlines today, but the Toledo Mud Hens left with the win. The Gwinnett left fielder easily handled the Mud Hens pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Gwinnett Stripers came out on the short end of the 9-7 score.

Kilsdonk told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win.

"Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."

Beau Kilsdonk doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Chris Majestic in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Thus far this year Kilsdonk has hit .331 with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs.
