The Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 11-3, at Coca-Cola Park today. Leading the charge for Scranton WB was second baseman Dave Staitie. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ken Huston earned the win for Scranton WB. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 1. With the win, he raised his record to 4-0. Picking up the save was Mike Wegner, his 2nd.

One of the biggest contributors for Scranton WB was designated hitter Josh Gill. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, Gill got a 1-1 splitter and hit a sacrifice fly. That put the RailRiders on top, 2-0.
