Hall Powers Isotopes to 6-3 Win
|
The Albuquerque Isotopes downed the Sacramento River Cats, 6-3, at Sutter Health Park. The Isotopes were led by Dave Hall. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The save went to Jim Kruse, number 6 for him. The Pacific Conference South Division-leading Isotopes have a record of 63-45.
In the top of the second inning with two out, Albuquerque first baseman Mike Goodridge drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Isotopes. For the day, Goodridge was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Goodridge told the Albuquerque Bulletin.
