The 8-3 Tacoma win over Sacramento was due largely to Alex Llado. The Rainiers right fielder went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dhane Mickelson closed the game out for Tacoma, earning his 13th save. At 36-25, the Rainiers claim second place in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Toson Oshii was vital part of the Tacoma win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. In the top of the fifth with one out, Oshii hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 3-2, in favor of the Rainiers.

"I still think this team can play even better," Llado told the Tacoma Today.
