The El Paso Chihuahuas grabbed a win, 4-1, over the Salt Lake Bees at Smith's Ballpark. El Paso center fielder Bob Ayers was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. Jordan Serrano sewed up the save, his 3rd. With the win, El Paso goes to 6-3.

El Paso used the clutch hitting of Andres de Leon to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Chihuahuas ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Joon-il Kwon. "But it's got to translate into wins."
