Guardians Cut Down Blue Jays, 12-3
|
The Cleveland Guardians bested the Toronto Blue Jays, 12-3, at Progressive Field. Doug Palmer was one of the standouts. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Andy Ackerman collected save number 1. Cleveland is now 71-91. Toronto is 57-105.
Montay Dimiceli took Josh Weimer deep in the bottom of the first. His grand slam home run put the Guardians in front, 4-0. For the game, Dimiceli was 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
