Waring Lifts Pirates to 10-0 Win
Not everyone stuck through the 38-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 10-0, at PNC Park today. Leading the charge for Pittsburgh was left fielder Chris Waring. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Pittsburgh is now 108-51.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out and the bases loaded, the batter, Chris Waring, hit a grand slam home run. It helped Pittsburgh seize the win.

"We put the pedal to the metal," said Waring.
