Ernesto Velasquez kept the Milwaukee Brewers hitters off balance all game long as the St. Louis Cardinals pitcher blanked the Brewers, 8-0.

Velasquez gave up 5 hits, struck out 9 and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length.

"It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it."
