Cardinals Lose to Reds in Walk Off
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

In the 7-6 Cincinnati win over St. Louis, the impact of Jose Gonzalez was substantial. Gonzalez, who is tied for 4th in the NL in stolen bases with 31, went 5 for 5 with a double and 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Devon Hensley, 4-3, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings.

The Reds were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when left fielder Jose Sanchez turned a 2-0 fastball from Alex Velasquez into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Cincinnati a thrilling 7-6 win.

Gonzalez told the Cincinnati Daily News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."

Cincinnati is now 73-79, St. Louis 84-69.
