Orioles Fall to .500 After 4-3 Loss to Rangers
|
Victor Iniguez had a good game, but he could not keep the Baltimore Orioles from falling, 4-3, to the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. The Baltimore designated hitter was 4-5 with 3 doubles in the loss. Joe Holloway earned the save for Texas, his 1st of the year. With the victory, the Rangers upped their record to 83-53.
One of the biggest contributors for Texas was designated hitter Danny Cooper. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, Cooper got a 0-1 fastball and hit a sacrifice fly. That put the Rangers on top, 4-3.
"Good to pick up this win," Cooper said.
