Houston Astros starter Andry Lara turned in an exceptional performance against the Oakland Athletics at Minute Maid Park, resulting in a Houston win, 4-0. Lara, the winner, moves to 11-2. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. The Astros raised their record to 64-43.
