In a well-pitched game between the Houston Astros and the Cleveland Guardians, pitcher Gil Eddins was fantastic. The Houston left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Robby Drexler sewed up the save, his 19th. The Astros improved to 61-42.
Ronnie Mihill tagged a home run off Josh Schmitz in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Astros on top, 2-1. In all, Mihill had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Eddins.
