"Jim was just locating so well and using his pitches," San Antonio manager Mitch Talbot said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Scarbrough recorded 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Sugar Land manager Zachary Zaborowski said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

On the year, Scarbrough has compiled a 8-3 mark with a 2.71 ERA.
