Armento, Pirates Sink Rangers Again in Game 3
The Pittsburgh Pirates are one game away from a sweep of the Texas Rangers today after a road win at Globe Life Field, 9-5. Pirates first baseman Christian Armento was a key contributor. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Pittsburgh now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 World Series.

A key at-bat came in the top of the second inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Maximo Acosta, hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 1-0, Pittsburgh, and helped them go on to win.

"I don't care a whit about getting a sweep," Acosta said. "The only part of it that matters to me is it means we've got a lot of chances to get that last win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
