Thrilling Win Pushes New Hampshire to Next Round
The seasons of the New Hampshire Wild and the Plattsburgh Thunderbirds hung in the balance, with a one-game showdown at Memorial Field to decide who would play in the Championship Series.

When the game came to an end, it was New Hampshire making it out of the Wild Card Single Elimination Round 1, with a 9-5 win, while Plattsburgh players could not hide the disappointment on their faces.

"Celebrating a series win is always exciting, whether it's a one-game playoff or a series that goes the distance," said Jon Gallanes, who went 3-for-5 to earn game MVP honors. "The guys in the room are happy with this one."

It's now on to the Championship Series, where Gallanes said "expectations will still be sky-high" as the club looks to keep moving forward.

The New Hampshire Wild will play against the Georgia Rhinos in the next round. Georgia won their series against the Tupper Lake RiverPigs. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Single Elimination Round 1 finishes.
