Castaneda Blasts Fightin Phils, Curve Take Game 3, 7-5
Riding the 2-hit performance of designated hitter Rodrigo Castaneda, the Altoona Curve stopped the visiting Reading Fightin Phils, 7-5, in Game 3 of the Round 1 today. Castaneda went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Curve, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 1.

J.J. Cook in the bottom of the fourth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Curve trailing 1-0, the Altoona third baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We all want to win," said Cook. "We all want to do our part."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at People's Natural Gas Field in Altoona.
