Mets, Dalquist Deal Nationals 7-2 Setback
|
New York Mets starter Andrew Dalquist was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Washington Nationals, 7-2. At 45-25, New York is in first place in the National League East Division.
Dalquist, the winner, is now 7-3 after putting the clamps on the Washington offense. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 8 Ks.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dalquist told the New York Times.
