Texas (DSL) Draws First Blood in Round 3 With 9-4 Win
The Texas (DSL) Rangers started the Round 3 in style today, winning on the road against the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians at Academia de Prospecto Complex by a score of 9-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Rangers right fielder Dave Meyer excelled. He went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fifth when Meyer hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Rangers into the lead, 3-2.

"Everything is so stressful now," Meyer said. "I was just trying not to trip on my way up to the plate."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, September 13th , 2039.
