The New Orleans Voodoo beat the Baltimore Orioles, 4-0, at Ballpark. Nelson Morales, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Juan Moreno closed the game out for New Orleans, earning his 1st save. The Voodoo improved to 34-14.
In the bottom of the sixth, New Orleans center fielder Calvin Alexander hit a run-scoring single to right field. It put the Voodoo up, 1-0.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Alexander told the New Orleans Observer.
