Albuquerque right fielder Vince Batye had a good game, even if his team did not. The Isotopes dropped a 6-5 decision to Salt Lake at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. Batye was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Salt Lake now owns a record of 60-78.

In the top of the sixth inning, second baseman Jon Thompson delivered a key hit for the Bees. With Salt Lake trailing 4-1, he ripped a 3-run home run.
