Rangers Bridle Blue Jays, 3-2
|
Texas Rangers starter Andy Boaz was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-2. Toronto has now lost 5 in a row.
In the bottom of the seventh, Texas right fielder Dan Kelley hit a run-scoring single to right field. It put the Rangers up, 3-2.
"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Boaz told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
