Phillies Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Philadelphia W (CMPX) starter Mike Kennedy had a strong outing against the Chicago A (CMPX) White Sox at Field of the Pipeliners. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Ignacio Sanchez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Mike Peterson was tagged with the loss. The win makes Philadelphia W (CMPX) 14-13.
Phil Hohl found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Chicago A (CMPX) hurler Mike Peterson, the 18-year-old right fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run. His 10th walk of the season put the Phillies on top, 4-3.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Phillies manager Pat Osborn.
