Morris Delivers Walk-Off Win for Tourists
The Asheville Tourists racked up a win at McCormick Field, bumping off the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 5-4. Sean Eveland, who started for Asheville, pitched effectively for his team. The winner in relief was Josh Auckerman. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 2-4. Asheville is 4th in the Southern Division with a record of 64-72.

In the bottom of the 12th, Tommie Morris delivered the big blow for Asheville, stroking a game-winning solo home run off Greensboro pitcher Chris Sowell.

"It feels good to get this one," Morris told the Asheville Gazette.
