Covington Off to the Playoffs Wednesday, October 2nd , 2024 They won't go into the Rising Stars Advanced League playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the Covington Blue Sox still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth. "We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the RSA Fire Conference Topaz, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said catcher Arturo Ponce. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division." The club will be vying for its 3rd Rising Stars Advanced League championship. |
