Las Vegas Triumphs with Late Surge
The Las Vegas High Rollers defeated the New Orleans Mudcats by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Christian Loredo. Loredo went 3-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 runs for the High Rollers on the day. Victor Gutierrez snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 3-3 on the season. With the win, the High Rollers have a record of 82-53.

Las Vegas took the lead, 5-3, on Jason Bassett's 22nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off New Orleans pitcher Doug Henig in the bottom of the eighth.
