Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Rebels, 4-0
|
In a pivotal Game 5, the Virginia Rebels were hoping for a big game from starter Roger Snyder. They got one.
The right-hander shut out the San Antonio Chiles Picantes, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 4-0 victory. The Rebels took the 4-0 win over the San Antonio Chiles Picantes to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Snyder worked his mojo for Virginia. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings of work.
"Roger giving us the start that he did was huge," said Virginia manager Andrew C.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 21st , 2023 at San Antonio Fields in San Antonio.
