Northeast Division Title Goes to Pirates Gold Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 The Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates Gold are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a Round 3 parade in the city of Pittsburgh (DSL). They've taken the big first step, winning the Northeast Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said right fielder Gustavo Armas. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 38-19 and it is the 1st time they've won the division title. Team manager Jose Mosquera said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
