Season Ends for Darcy Longstaff of Cincinnati (DSL) Saturday, August 2nd , 2025 When Cincinnati (DSL) reliever Darcy Longstaff was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Reds-Royals Stewart game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Longstaff had sustained a ruptured disc and will be out for about 9 months. Taking a look at his season stats for 2025, Longstaff has made 7 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark with a 1.80 ERA. In pitching 10 innings, he has totaled 20 strikeouts and 4 walks. |
