5-Hit Barrage by Mendez Saturday, July 26th , 2025 It was nearly a perfect day for Wady Mendez at Academia de Prospecto Complex. Although the Texas (DSL) Rangers Blue right fielder was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 5 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Rangers Blue from falling to the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies White. Philadelphia (DSL) spoiled his great day at the plate by winning the game, 16-15. Wady Mendez walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Edwin Zamudio in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and walked in the 9th. At present, Mendez is batting .372 and has collected 15 home runs, 46 RBIs, .497 OBP and scored 39 runs. View Boxscore |
