Monster 3-HR Day for Munoz Thursday, May 14th , 2026 Lake Elsinore second baseman Maikol Munoz blasted three homers at San Manuel Stadium in the 9-2 Storm victory over the Inland Empire 66ers. For the game, Maikol Munoz scored 3 times and knocked in 7 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Munoz when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Munoz told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Maikol Munoz grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Garrett Horn in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Nate Knowles in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Darlyn De La Cruz in the 9th.
