No-Hit Masterpiece by Albright Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 Mason Albright relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold Stockton hitless in a win, 8-0, at Chukchansi Park. "Nobody goes out to pitch a no-hitter," he said later. "We just go out and try to get a win. A 10-9 win is better than a 1-0 loss. My pitching buddies might not be too happy giving up nine runs but a win is a win. The key to it today was I mixed my pitches well. I kept the Ports off balance and guessing the whole game." The 22-year-old starter rung up 11 strikeouts and 3 walks in whipping the Ports. "When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," Stockton skipper Javier Godard said.
