Graham Hits for Cycle Against Great Lakes Friday, May 22nd , 2026 Getting 4 hits in a game is no easy feat, but doing it to hit for the cycle is even more rare. Peyton Graham of the West Michigan Whitecaps pulled it off at LMCU Ballpark, going 4-for-6 against the Great Lakes Loons. His batting escapades sparked the Whitecaps to a win, 24-3. Graham tallied 3 runs and drove in 6 during the game. Hitting for the cycle is particularly rare because of the different skills required - enough power for a home run, enough speed for a triple and enough patience at the plate to see at least four hittable balls. "It just happened," Graham said to reporters after the win. "Must have been fate or something, I wasn't expecting it. Heck, I wasn't even really trying for it." Peyton Graham doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Carson Hobbs in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
