Sosa Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, June 23rd , 2027 Ivan Sosa really sizzled at the plate in his team's 14-2 win over the Lansing Lugnuts. The Quad Cities third baseman blistered Lansing for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Sosa was too tough to get out today," the Lugnuts skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ivan Sosa hit a two-run home run off Josh Alger in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
