NWL Star of the Week Named Monday, May 11th , 2026 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Northwest League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Jakob Runnels for his red-hot week of hitting. The Hillsboro catcher took home the trophy by splurging with 10 hits in 25 at-bats for a .400 batting average, driving in 11 runs and scoring 6 times. This season, Runnels is batting at a .262 clip with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
