Sea Dogs Crouse Gone for Year
Sunday, September 7th , 2025
When Portland reliever Hans Crouse was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Sea Dogs-Fightin Phils game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Crouse had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 12 months.

Crouse has taken the hill for 14 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 6-2 record with a 3.44 ERA. The Portland reliever has limited opposing batters to a .220 batting average.
