Los Angeles Gets 7-6 Win
The Los Angeles Angels defeated the New York Yankees, 7-6, at Yankee Stadium. Los Angeles first baseman Josh Naylor had a superb performance. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The defeat makes New York 10-17.

Brayan Rocchio helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Los Angeles a 2-0 lead.

In postgame comments to the Los Angeles Chronicle, Naylor said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
