Great Stroke: Buttall Gets 5 Hits
It was a downpour of hits for Louie Buttall at 121 Financial Park.

The Worcester Red Sox right fielder tore into Jacksonville for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Red Sox to a rain-delayed 13-10 victory. Jacksonville manager Nick Janssen bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Buttall's big day.

"He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Buttall was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame."

Louie Buttall doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ron Donnay in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Baker in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Hitting .372 to date, Buttall has 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 23 games.
