Schanuel drives in 4 runs to Ignite Angels Offense
|
Los Angeles first baseman Nolan Schanuel had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Texas Rangers, 7-4. The winning pitcher was Reid Detmers. He's now 2-0. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits for the Angels. Los Angeles has a record of 5-8.
Had Kyren Paris not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Paris hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Angels.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Schanuel.
