The Los Angeles Angels satisfied the home crowd at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, treating them to a season-opening win, 3-1, over the Chicago White Sox. Starting Pitcher Chase Silseth was the standout performer for Los Angeles.

Josh Naylor cracked a home run off Drew Thorpe in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Angels on top, 3-1. In all, Naylor had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Naylor told the Los Angeles Chronicle.
