Brewers Suffer 7-2 Loss to Chicago
|
Chicago Cubs starter Jordan Wicks was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-2. With the win, the Cubs hiked their record to 58-45.
Left Fielder Austin Hays made an impact for Chicago, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Logan Henderson in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Hays was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"No complaints from me," said Cubs manager Craig Counsell. "I like what I saw out there."
