Fort Myers Mighty Mussels starter Bobby Sayles was unhittable at Hammond Stadium.

Sayles beat the Palm Beach Cardinals, 18-0, breezing through the Cardinals lineup en route to a no-hitter.

"I thought Bobby started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Mighty Mussels manager Joey Hamilton said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Cardinals never had a chance. He dominated them."

Sayles struck out 11 batters and issued 3 walks in the performance.
