The Chicago White Sox called upon starter Seth Johnson, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Houston Astros, 6-2. With the win over Houston, the White Sox improved to 18-22.

Had Carson Kelly not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kelly hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the White Sox.

"Seth's a trooper," said Chicago manager Robbie Robinson. "He always gives it all he's got."
