Toronto (DSL)'s Carte Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Toronto (DSL)'s Jake Carte made it happen against the Padres. Everything came together at the plate for the 19-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Blue Jays triumph, 23-7, at Najayo Complex.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Carte said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Jake Carte hit a two-run home run off Louie Brandrick in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Tedros Eyadema in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ernesto Ledesma in the 8th.
