Motors Earn 7-4 Win Versus New York City
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Sebastian Becton, the New York City Blues lost to the Detroit Motors, 7-4. Becton went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Blues drop to 5-8, as their stumbling start to the 2022 season continues.

The Motors got a big at-bat from catcher Gabe Espinoza. For the game, Espinoza was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Detroit a 4-3 lead.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Detroit manager Sean Morgan.
