Fife Grabs BA 1 Reliever of the Year Award Friday, October 1st , 2088 Steve Fife said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 22 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Killeen Scouts rising star has won the Baseball Academy One Reliever of the Year Award for 2088. He captured the award on the strength of his 0.88 ERA over 61.2 innings. He also had 5 saves in 42 relief appearances, 59 strikeouts and only 23 walks. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Quinn Diamond of the Tulsa Edge finished second in voting, while Tony Layman of the Tulsa Edge finished third.
