Rochester Shuts Out Havre, 6-0 Sunday, August 23rd , 2093 Brian Tipa was dynamite at Sparks Ballpark, blowing away the Havre Sparks in a shutout victory. The Rochester Buzz starter had everything working as he held the Sparks to 9 hits in the 6-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Havre skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Tipa finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks. This season, Tipa has worked 55.2 innings with 43 strikeouts en route to a 4-3 record and a 3.40 ERA. |
