Pittsburgh Wins, 3-2, Over Gothams

NRCS Field played host to some real drama.
The Pittsburgh River Bandits picked up a win at NRCS Field, knocking off the New York Gothams, 3-2. Starting pitcher Kade MacRankin played a key role in the triumph. Pittsburgh reliever Micheal Mills was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Nate Travis took the loss.
Miguel Raya was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the River Bandits center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Pittsburgh manager Chris Mayer said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
Pittsburgh is now 37-40.
