Bailey Now 7-4 After Subduing Orioles
|
Philadelphia starter Homer Bailey had a strong outing against the Baltimore Orioles at Citizens Bank Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 1-0 win. Dave Burns earned the save, his 6th, for the Phillies. With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 30-26.
Bailey allowed no runs over 8.2 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Bailey.
